An Intelligent AI Assistant
Delivering the company's first AI assistant for capital planning cycles.
Overview
Energy utilities giants trust IFS Copperleaf to steer more than $2.8T in critical infrastructure investments with transparent, defensible decisions.
My Role
As Program Manager, I led the successful launch of this first AI product—aligning teams across engineering, design, and clients to deliver a smooth rollout and elevate decision confidence.
Problem Statement
Capital planning is a highly complex, data-intensive process that often results in incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate investment inputs that cascade through the portfolio modelling process, producing unreliable outputs that require extended review cycles. The resulting delays and inefficiencies increase the risk of misallocating capital — creating significant financial and strategic exposure for organizations.
Solution
To solve this, IFS Copperleaf integrated AI in the capital planning journey to support users at investment creation and business case review step. By using AI Investment Assistant to surface insights, validate inputs, and reduce complexity, the organization aimed to help users plan with greater confidence and efficiency.

Payments Integration Platform
Mazooma is a single-integration SaaS payments platform enabling real-time, bank-verified transactions across 11,000+ banks, widely used in regulated U.S. iGaming and sports betting markets.
About the Company
Paramount Commerce is a B2B2C company offering online payment processing products and Risk Management solutions to iGaming and sports betting markets in Canada and USA.
Its products include INTERAC®, INSTADEBIT and Instant Bank Transfer technologies that facilitate online payment transfers directly through the customers banks.
Problem Statement
Paramount Commerce was planning to acquire eCommerce markets, however its outdated technology was limiting its ability to scale up.
“ Lack of integration between the products amplified by the missing user management feature resulted in duplicate data, manual tasks and wasted productivity for its customer service team and lost profit opportunity for merchants unable to use analytics due to data inaccuracy. ”
Solving the above problems were important for Paramount Commerce to reduce customer churn and create scalable products to acquire eCommerce market.

Copperleaf Design System
Driving Design System's governance change through Design Thinking
Problem Statement
As part of the company's global modernization initiative, product teams were required to rebuild legacy apps using a new technology stack within a tight deadline. The current Design System was incomplete and lacked key components that would provide required functionality; the team also was limited on human capacity to support all teams.
Product teams had to develop components independently from scratch, leading to expensive development cycles and inconsistent, unpredictable user experiences. This increased the risk of human error and unnecessary interruptions to clients' workflows, potentially costing millions of dollars and harm to Copperleaf reputation.

"Expect Empathy" while having fun
“Because we need to “moo-ve” beyond our own pasture and consider the feelings of others. After all, empathy is not just about walking in someone else’s shoes, but also grazing in their field.”
